To such conclusion there came authors of two recent scientific researches who confirm a known stereotype: women love witty men, and men love women who laugh at their jokes, informs DELFI.

That fact, that people with sense of humor are attractive, it seems obvious. Already some scientific researches for acknowledgement or a refutation of this idea however were carried out.

Eric Bressler from Westfield the state college in Massachusetts and his( colleague Sigal Belshajn from University Makmastera in Hamilton, Ontario, have constructed the research as follows. They have asked 200 students of college man's and a female to look at photos of persons of an opposite floor. Under some of them there were amusing signatures, for example: "At our school was so nasty, that at us the regular inspector" was. Under others were neutral: "I preferred to go to school on foot instead of to go by the bus ".

Women have estimated the men who have shown sense of humor as more probable potential partners, researchers and also as more friendly have found out, interesting and popular. On the other hand, the opinion of men on women did not depend in any way on their wit.

Bressler has assumed, as men and women actually equally appreciate sense of humor in the partner, but they require in a little bit (different things: women appreciate skill to make laugh, and men - ability to understand a joke.
At second investigation phase Bressler with colleagues two person of an opposite floor has asked to imagine about 130 students. One of these imagined characters herself was joker, and the second - appreciated another's humor. Then them have asked, whom they would choose from these two for close relations.

Women, as a rule, preferred men - merry fellows, and men - women to whom they seem witty.

Bressler considers, that his supervision can help to understand, how at people during evolution the sense of humor in general was developed.

According to the theory offered by psychologist Dzheffri Millerom from University of New Mexico, the woman prefer witty men as presence of humor proves, that at them an active and healthy brain and consequently - a good set of genes. " It Is rather effective and reliable way to be convinced available creative imagination and intelligence ", - speaks miller.

If this theory is true, the woman, choosing itself in partners joker, has more chances to get healthy posterity to which these genes are transferred. Thus, there is a selection favorable for men with humor and women which appreciate this humor.

What all this means for people which search for the love? Being the scientist, instead of the expert in the field of relations, Bressler is at a loss to give the answer.
